General Rules, Regulations and Advice to Parents

  • Parents/Guardians are not allowed to enter the Class Rooms.
  • All children should be dressed with complete uniform and well presented hair.
  • All the children should leave the school premises after the school timings. The institution does not take any responsibility of the child after the school hours.
  • Gold jewelry, watches, expensive articles, loose money, unwanted stationery is forbidden and the management is not in anyway responsible for such losses. The parents are solely responsible. Such articles will be confiscated by the management if found on a student and will be returned at the end of the school day.
  • Those who suffer from contagious diseases will not be allowed to attend classes.
  • Misbehaving and mischievous children shall be suspended or expelled from the school based on the seriousness of the act.
  • We have a no tolerance policy against bullying and the students who commit them will be suspended or expelled from the school based on the seriousness of the act.
  • The parents will be solely responsible for the damage caused to the school or its belongings by their children.
  • Promotion shall not be considered if the child has less than 90% attendance. If the child is continuously absent for four consecutive months without any notice before hand and approval from the management, his/her name shall be struck off from the roll without any notice to parents.
  • The school shall not be held responsible for any loss of child’s tiffin boxes or other articles. In case of lost articles found, the school shall return them back.
  • In case of any kind of emergency, please contact the head mistress directly.
  • Parents/ Guardians/ Children shall be governed by the rules framed by the management which may change from time to time.
  • Any new rule / rules are to be followed by the children instantly without any reservation. The decision of the head mistress is final and binding on all matters of issue.
  • Irregular Attendance, insubordination to teachers, stealing, writing obscenity in words, copying in examination may also result to the expulsion of your ward from the school.
  • Parents are requested to stick labels on lunch boxes and pencil boxes and any concerns about this issue please talk to the teachers.

Rules of Conduct and Discipline

In the interest of the child’s Discipline we expect full co-operation from parents.

  1. Pupils are expected to show gentleness and courtesy to their companions, refinement of manners should distinguish every Pupil of the school.
  2. No student is allowed to leave the class room without the permission of the teacher.
  3. No Pupil should leave the school premises during school hours or recess without the prior permission of the Head Mistress.
  4. Late comers from VI to X Classes are allowed after second bell into their classes.
  5. Students reaching school after the school bell will be considered as late comers and are subjected to stand outside the closed gate.
  6. Learn to be courteous and patient in and outside the school.
  7. No visitors are allowed during the class hours.

Advice to the Parents / Guardians

Parental Co-operation is indispensable for proper Education of the children. The School Authorities cannot carry out their duties efficiently without co-operation from the parents. The parents are requested to keep in constant touch with the school authorities and teachers concerning the progress of their children in their studies.

Progress report of their children should be checked by the parents regularly and can discuss their wards progress with the concerned teacher.

It would be a great help to the school, if the parent make sure

  • The child / children should come regularly, maintain punctuality and come in a neatly dressed uniform.
  • The school gates will be closed by 8.40 a.m and the children must be in the school before the gates are closed.
  • The boys should have properly trimmed hair and the Girls hair should be tied with black ribbons.
  • Children should bring to school the required text books, note books, neatly covered and labelled, regularly, according to the time table.
  • Maintain regular hours of study at home throughout the year which would help the children to develop proper study habits.
  • See the hand book daily, verify and sign it.
  • Write down a note in the diary for any problem pertaining to the child.
  • Prepare the children well for Formative and Summative Examinations and Contact H.M. for improvement.
  • The parents are also advised
    1.  Not to expect the child to learn without making mistakes. Remember they were also once a little child. Relax, the child will also become perfect one day.
    2. Please do not hesitate to correct the child if the occasion demands it. Remember the proverb “Spare the rod, spoil the child.”

Leave & Absence

  1. All the pupils are supposed to be regular to school.
  2. In case of absence or leave, the reason must be specified. It should be written in the hand book counter signed by parent / guardian.
